Finance Strategy Analyst – Operations & Planning 

A leading firm in the resource and manufacturing sector is seeking a Finance Strategy Analyst to support long-range planning and performance insights within its operations team. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across functions and contribute to strategic financial decisions that impact upstream business segments.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with operations, capital and commercial teams to deliver 5-year business plans
• Conduct financial analyses, scenario modeling and competitor reviews
• Present insights and strategic metrics to senior leadership
• Maintain and validate data integrity across financial systems
• Leverage analytics tools to uncover business opportunities
• Prepare high-impact reports and recommendations

Who You Are

• 6+ years in financial or business analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• Postgraduate designation (CFA, CPA, CBV or MBA preferred)
• Skilled in financial modeling, cross-team collaboration and data storytelling
• Fluent with Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, SAP, Oracle, etc.) is an asset
• Clear communicator with a natural curiosity and sharp problem-solving skills
