Learning & Development Specialist

Role Overview
This position plays a key role in shaping workforce capabilities and employee experience through impactful learning, development, and engagement strategies. Working within a collaborative and high-growth environment, the Learning & Development Advisor delivers programs that strengthen culture, support career paths, and foster ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage learning programs focused on skills development, performance, and culture building
- Build structured career paths based on competencies and development goals
- Oversee onboarding frameworks and ensure seamless integration of new hires
- Develop and administer succession planning and high-potential talent initiatives
- Partner with external training providers and coordinate onsite learning logistics
- Monitor program effectiveness, collect feedback, and report on learning ROI
- Administer recognition programs that align with values and promote engagement
- Leverage HRIS tools (e.g. LMS, Employee Voice) to track training progress and analytics
- Maintain compliance with budget, reporting, and operational standards
Ideal Candidate Profile
✅ Experience in learning & development, culture-building, or organizational design
✅ Proven ability to manage multiple programs and drive strategic HR initiatives
✅ Strong project management and facilitation skills
✅ Familiarity with LMS platforms and e-learning tools (e.g. Articulate, Canva, Adobe Suite)
✅ Skilled in stakeholder collaboration and communicating across levels
✅ Analytical mindset with ability to measure impact and adjust tactics
✅ Background in HR, education, or business, with CPHR/CTDP certification an asset
✅ Passionate about employee experience and continuous improvement
